An option is a possible action that a character may choose to take.

How to choose Options

A common mistake of students of DramaTheory is to include options that are the negation of each other.

Choosing options that are affirmative sentences makes describing dilemmas easier as otherwise several layers of negation can build up quickly.

How Many Options to Consider?

For almost any frame in any drama, there are an almost infinite number of options that one might consider. Most are totally irrelevant. The ability to choose the most important ones is something that is learned through experience.
